Thomas is Chief Executive Officer at Milestone Systems A/S a global leader in video management software and the company behind the open platform VMS solutions: XProtect.
Thomas Jensen is a seasoned business executive with a wide range of experience in business transformation, go-to-market strategy, and international expansion/scaling.
Prior to joining Milestone Systems, Thomas was Executive Vice President for Bechtle E-Commerce Holding AG. In this role, he led the strategy development for the organisation including International Business; Strategic Vendor Management; Solution Development; and M&A. In addition, he was responsible for the business in Southern Europe (France, Spain, Portugal & Italy), United Kingdom, & Eastern Europe (Poland, Hungary & Czech Republic).
Previously, Thomas was Head of Worldwide Channel Sales Strategy for HP Inc. in Palo Alto, California, USA where he drove the Global channel development. During the separation of Hewlett-Packard into HP Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Thomas led the channel separation, responsible for preparing the new strategy and organisation for the indirect revenue of HP Inc. (87% the total business). Before moving to the USA, Thomas was General Manager for HP’s PC & Print Division in Denmark.
From 1999-2011 Thomas held various leadership roles with e.g. Vestas Wind Systems and A.P. Moller–Maersk in Denmark as well as Hewlett-Packard in Europe. In addition, Thomas is a certified Facilitator for Storewars, which is one of the worlds’ most acknowledged programs for retail industries.
Thomas is a Danish national who has worked across the globe for more than 20 years, including living in Palo Alto, California, USA; Barcelona, Spain; and Sydney, Australia. He holds a Master of Science degree in International Business Economics from Aalborg University in Denmark and has supplemented his Master’s with the Executive Board Programme at INSEAD in France.
